February Meeting

The February meeting saw hundreds of people show up at the Collingswood Senior Community Center. Many of the attendees were attending their first Indivisible meeting. In fact, so many people showed up for the meeting that we had to hold two simultaneous meetings because the ballroom could not accommodate all the people who showed up. A quick rundown of the topics covered is given below along with a link to the slide presentation that was used in the main meeting.

  • A quick overview of the history of Cooper River Indivisible (CRI)
  • An overview of the core principles of CRI
  • A rundown of the structure of CRI
  • A summary of the goals and achievements of each of the committees that comprise CRI
  • A list of the tactics we will be using to affect the direction of our country
  • A talk on how we are looking to grow and adjust the demographics of the origination
  • A recap of the actions we have taken in the past few months including the recent actions against Tesla

In addition to covering all these topics, money was collected for the Reproductive Rights Mutual Aide Packs that we will be making on the 17th of March. Finally, the leadership team fielded many questions from the audience.
